College Fairs

For those of you who haven’t given me your gmails and therefore haven’t been invited to view the College Guidance Google calendar, there are some college fairs coming up!

SUNY College Fair

When/Where: Wednesday, September 22nd at the Javits Center from 3:30-7:30

Why You Should Care: Representatives from every SUNY campus will be on hand, from the big research universities to small 2-year and technical schools.  Since most of you are still figuring out which SUNY schools to apply to, it’s a great opportunity to see what might be a good fit!

Big Apple College Fair

When: October 13th – 17th in all five boroughs.

Why You Should Care: Representatives from over 100 colleges/universities from all over the region (and country) will be there, including SUNY and CUNY schools.  Great opportunity to explore your options!

Remember: This isn’t only an opportunity for you to get more information about certain schools, but it’s also an opportunity for you to present yourself to admissions personnel–some of whom will be deciding on your admission later on!  It’s a chance to impress!
